The article examines sexual element in Jane Austen's fiction which focused on sexual attraction between a man and a woman and as the reconciliation of maleness and femaleness. It examines several themes like feeling and reason, freedom and order, and the individual and society that comes to a focus in marriage and are dramatized in her novels through the incidents of wooing and wedding that cannot leave sex out.
