- Abstract
An interview with international legal practitioner Cécile Aptel is presented. When asked about the lack of attention to children as victims of atrocity crimes compared to adults, she discussed how international criminal jurisdictions historically prioritized adult experiences, overlooking children's vulnerabilities in atrocities until recent years, due to various barriers. She highlights the Rights of the Child and international human rights law.
