- Authors
Welch, Susan; Forsythe, David P.
- Abstract
The article reports on the study about American human rights supporters' foreign policy attitudes in the United States. These supporters include American for Democratic Action (ADA), the United Church of Christ (UCC), and Freedom House. The research aims to offer evidence on one kind of intermediate group in U. S. foreign policy-making. In the end, it shows that the supporters have consistent view, that human rights and foreign policy are structured, and that some of the groups have had some effect on the making of the country's human rights policy while none of the others seemed to have had much impact when acting alone.
