The Edition Process.

- Abstract
The article presents the author's views on the editing process of the book "Under Kilimanjaro," written by Ernest Hemingway, the great English language novelist. He found that it was extremely enlightening to observe how the famous Hemingway style evolved as the author composed. Hemingway had no compunction about rewriting during proofreading. While editing the unfinished manuscript of the African book, Hemingway made two sorts of corrections. Corrections were made by a typewriter, because of spacing made early in the composition process. There were many corrections made by hand too. Many corrections and additions made by hand extended into the margin.
