Information about the topics discussed at a meeting on raising the profile of the cancer problem in Africa is presented. Ocean Road Cancer Institute executive director Twalib Ngoma stresses if such problem will not be addressed, cancer rates are going to increase. Attendees of the event have tackled the means to curb the cancer epidemic and better treat the patients. Physician Mompati Mmalane emphasizes the main reason on late diagnosis.
