The SNAP trial: a randomised placebo-controlled trial of nicotine replacement therapy in pregnancy - clinical effectiveness and safety until 2 years after delivery, with economic evaluation. We carried out the first randomised controlled trial that compared the effectiveness and safety of nicotine patches (combined with other NRT products if required) versus ECs in 1,140 pregnant smokers.10 DID E-CIGARETTES HELP PREGNANT SMOKERS QUIT?.
