Presents an interview with matron June Walker. She discusses the many highs and few lows in her post as modern matron/clinical lead at the Manthorpe Centre in Grantham, part of Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust. Her current role is modern matron/clinical lead within a mental health service for older people. A rural county, it lies within the East Midlands and is bordered by Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Cambridgeshire and Rutland. Lincolnshire is famous for places such as Grantham, Spalding and Lincoln itself, with its beautiful cathedral.
