- Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine the mediating role of digital leadership, which keeps up to date and always manages organizations in the footsteps of innovations, on the effect of digital culture, which includes the habits created by innovations that are included in people's lives through digitalization, on organizational performance. Method/Design/Methodology/Approach: The population of the research consists of 1830 bank personnel working in Balıkesir province and its districts. The sample of the research consists of 507 personnel selected from banks in Bandırma district and Balıkesir city center. The data of the research was obtained through a survey. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, normality test, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were performed with the data obtained. Findings: As a result of the correlation analysis, it was determined that there was a significant and positive relationship between digital culture and digital leadership, a significant and positive relationship between digital culture and organizational performance, and a significant and positive relationship between organizational performance and digital leadership. According to the results of the hierarchical regression analysis, it was determined that digital leadership had a partial mediating effect on the effect of digital culture on organizational performance. Originality: Since there are not many studies on the subject of the research, it is hoped that this research will contribute to the literature.
