- Abstract
In this paper I approached issues related o sustainability in education from the perspective of the role of creativity and innovation in education approach. The fundamental objective of this paper was to highlight the role of facilitators for innovative teaching and creative learning, focusing on the role of curriculum and teachers in this process. I also showed the importance of individual skills of teachers and pupils, as a major factor influencing the development of creativity and innovation in education. All these facilitators contribute to the sustainable development of education and is based on a set of values, practices and ethical conduct. Based on investigations in the literature, comparative analysis and the observations I showed the link between sustainability development and social responsibility through creativity and innovation facilitators.
