- Abstract
The Study used aimed at identify the effectiveness of the use of the six-dimensional strategy (PDEODE) in the teaching science on the development of achievement and creative thinking among elementary school students.To analysis the unit of (electricity and magnets) The study used the analytical descriptive method and its preparation and was used to test the hypothesis of the semi-experimental method. The design was used for the tribal and remote measurement of two groups, one experimental and the other for control. The study sample consulted of (68) sixth grade student divided into two experimental groups (33) who studied the door (electricity and magnet) by using the PDEODE strategy and 35 students studied by the traditional method. The study used two tools “cognitive test and the creative thinking test”. The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the achievement test in in favour the experimental group. There were also statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in the whole creative thinking test except the originality in favourthe experimental group.
