In the study, we try to examine the success of public procurement, which is one of the objectives of the development of medical device registration systems, on the optimum price and its effect on public health expenditures. For this purpose; the tender costs of the medical device at the initial stage of the medical device registration system are determined. The determined tender prices are compared with the changes in the tender prices realized with the medical device registration application over time. It is concluded that the medical device registration system reduces medical device prices and contributes to health expenditure savings. It is considered that monitoring and analyzing the accurate and regular entry of public procurement price information entered into the registration systems can provide effective medical device cost management.
