- Abstract
In this study, the levels of vitamin B1 (Thiamine), vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), vitamin B3 (Nicotinamide), vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), vitamin B11 (Folic Acid) and vitamin B12 (Cobalamin) in the soils amended with and without wastewater sludge were determined by high performance liquid cromatography (HPLC). According to our results, in the soils which had wastewater sludge and cultivated common vetch plant and in the control soil groups which had no fertilizer and plant, vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6, B11 and B12 levels were determined as 0,40 ± 0.06, 0,62±0.10 μg/g; 0,60±0.10, 0,36±0.06 μg/g; 0,54±0.09, 0,43±0.07μg/g; 1,23±0.25, 0,80±0.13μg/g ; 0,69±0.11, 0,46±0.07μg/g; 19,09±0.30, 25,85±5.17 μg/g, respectively. In control group soils without plant, Riboflavin (B2), Nicotinamide (B3), Pyridoxine (B6) and Folic Acid (B11) levels increased with wastewater sludge amendment. Consequently, it was determined that wastewater sludge as fertilizer in land increases some vitamin B levels of organic matter content of soil.
