- Abstract
The authors discuss Nigeria, which was identified as the country with the greatest number of cases of neglected tropical diseases (NTD) such as helminths and lymphatic filariasis (LF). The authors say that Nigeria has also the greatest number of LF cases and onchocerciasis. They mention the report conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) which suspects cases of dracunculiasis in the country.
