The article argues that the normative principles that shape the duty of disclosure in real estate ownership should be attuned to "public policy" considerations to entail a broader view of the societal features of ownership. Topics discussed include balance between secrecy and disclosure; legitimacy of anonymous forms of expression in traditional and new media; and secrecy and externalities in real estate ownership.
