- Abstract
The article examines the psychometric properties of the Dutch translation of the parent rating scale Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory (ECBI) using item response theory. A community and a multi-ethnic clinical samples are used. Both of these samples are found confirming the one-dimensional structure of the ECBI Intensity and Problem Scales. The study also indicates good consistency, reliability, and validity which confirmed the ECBI as a reliable measure for child disruptive behavior problems.
