- Title
Redemption As Integral to the Gratuity of Creation: An Eschatological Reading of Genesis 1-3.
- Authors
Novello, Henry
- Abstract
The article examines the theological reading of the creation story based on the biblical texts in Genesis 1-3 citing the event of the risen Jesus Christ as the eschaton in person. It explores the implication of the reading on the ontological interrelatedness of the physical and human worlds regardless of the relational ontology of God at the centre of goodness. It discusses God's transcendence over creation and the meaning of being created in His image and God's immanence and divine prohibition.
