- Authors
Ansel, Aaron
- Abstract
The article focuses on the reevaluation of the U.S. Department of Commerce's anti-dumping law in China. It offers an overview of anti-dumping law as applied to market economy (ME) countries and non-market economy (NME) countries. It explores the approach of classifying the People's Republic of China (PRC) as NME in terms of anti-dumping policy, while assessing the country as an ME for countervailing duty (CVD) law purposes. The author proposes a market-oriented enterprises (MOE) test for China.
