- Abstract
The article presents a case control study which evaluates the correlation of tinnitus in normal-hearing individuals with psychiatric disorders. It mentions that 68 tinnitus patients and a control group of 48 subjects without tinnitus were submitted to otoacoustic emission (OAE) tests. It shows that tinnitus annoyance is correlated with the presence of depression and anxiety.
