- Abstract
Teleworking is now "necessary" due to COVID-19. During the first wave of COVID-19 in early March 2020, many companies required some employees to work from home to reduce contamination. However, most organisations did not anticipate this scenario in their business continuity plan, either temporarily or permanently. In this context, we conducted a survey on teleworking in Switzerland and its effects on employee engagement and disengagement, company performance, and risk. Our research seeks to identify teleworking-based business performance model drivers to rethink the post-pandemic future of work. The paper designs, develops, and analyses PLS models using structural equation modelling and partial least square approach to identify company performance drivers and teleworking risks. It details the optimal model for employee motivation and work attractiveness.
