- Abstract
The article focuses on findings of a study on Late Miocene Mammals Including Chilotherium in the Xining Basin, Northeastern Tibetan Plateau, China. It states that a large mammal fossil skull was identified as the rhinoceratid Chilotherium species, and mentions that three teeth are identified as the equid, Hipparion dongxiangense. It concludes that the species have been found in the Xining basin in Late Cenozoic lacustrine sedimentary strata.
