- Title
Annibale Rigotti, un architetto tra Ottocento e Novecento.
- Authors
Filippi, Francesca Benedetta
- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the Italian architect Annibale Rigotti (1870-1968) and his views concerning architecture. The author provides some biographical notes on Rigotti's career as student of Accademia Albertina di belle arti di Torino, architect and professor at the Polytechnic University of Turin. It is suggested that his absence from the history of the modern international architecture might be due to Giuseppe Maria Pugno, an engineer, being appointed headmaster of the College of Architecture of the aforementioned institution.
