- Abstract
The article presents information on the law and legislation regarding the default judgment in context with the court case H. F. Livermore Corp. v. Aktiengesellschaft Gebruder Loepfe which was filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. According to the U.S. Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, default judgments are available to a person in case the opposing party fails to plead.
