- Authors

- Abstract
The article focuses on the reaction of a 48-year old woman after receiving an injection of patent blue V dye. The patient with breast cancer, who undergoes a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsy, had developed greenish-blue urticarial rash over her face, neck, thighs, buttocks, and groin after receiving 2 ml of 2.5 % patent blue V dye around the lumpectomy site. It notes that the patient's rash subsided after 6 hours. It also states that cases of adverse reaction to blue dye seldom occur.
