- Abstract
The article reviews the drama "Romeo and Juliet," created by William Shakespeare. It states that the concept of death and false death shown in the play belongs to Renaissance drama. It comments on the way in which Shakespeare has depicted the late tragedies. It gives a detailed description of the dramatization of the scene by Shakespeare in which Romeo drinks poison near the dead body of Juliet.
