There is some agreement on what is poverty, but its measurements to permit international comparison are diverse and all are currently under revision. However, these measures and revisions usually do not take into account the feminization of poverty for technical and ideological reasons, that is, the gender perspective is ignored, even if it is what best explains the impoverishment of women.
