- Abstract
The article highlights how rise of social media and online lawyer rating services have created challenges to the confidentiality rules because clients now have the means to trash or praise their lawyers before a large audience. Topics discussed include regulations related to legal proceeding, to defend against a client's public accusation of serious misconduct; and the Minnesota State Bar Association's opposition to petition filed seeking amendment of the confidentiality rule.
