The article discusses mentoring is a key factor for African American Women in the U.S. Federal Senior Executive Service. It mentions that Civilian Federal Register prescribes that executive agencies create programs and recruit to reduce underrepresentation of minorities in the Federal service ranks. It also mentions that legitimizing the diversity and inclusion challenges faced by women and minorities in the workforce, particularly in their achievement of senior management positions.
