The article focuses on the findings of a follow-up study on the Electronic Systems Technologies (EST) program launched by the Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. The program was launched to ensure that the needs of the industry and the students are being met. Fifty-one percent of the participants has performed component level troubleshooting. It cites the factors that led to the changes in the EST curriculum.
