- Abstract
The article focuses on sexual practices among the Mebengokre Indians, also known as Kayapó Indians, from the Brazilian Amazonia. Particular focus is given to the development of ethnological research on the sexuality of Indian peoples. Subjects discussed include generational differences regarding romantic love and marriage, fertility rites, and interethnic marriage.
