- Title
ARISTÓTELES: UNA POÉTICA DE LO POSIBLE.
- Authors
Marcos, Alfredo
- Abstract
In Aristotle's Poetics could be found an authentic theory of knowledge as a creative discovery, holds the author. This vision goes beyond moderns conceptions of knowledge such as something objective discovered into reality, or a merely product of a subject, for Poetics raises a theory of creation (poiesis) and a theory of imitation (mimesis). Based on these two notions, Poetics is able to conciliate representational and creative aspects of human knowledge in a positive way. Human knowledge would be `discovering' such as `creating' what is known.
