- Abstract
Taking into account the spatial variability of agricultural soil in Algeria, the choice of the agricultural tools form for the development of culture is often difficult to achieve. A bad choice will affect the quality of tillage operations and indirectly on the crop yield. Results on the forms effect of active surfaces of the body of the mouldploughs ploughing qualitative indices have shown the importance of this choice. Before choosing the appropriate form, it is necessary to know that characterize the active working surfaces parts of agriculture tools (Amara M. and al. 2007). It is in this context that this work was done. This work is a methodological approach to the study of two types of surfaces of two sets of plough, the most frequently used in Algeria. These ploughs manufactured by companies SACRA and ENPMA. To avoid the mathematical concepts are often very complex to the understanding of agricultural engineers, two methods are chosen to characterize the surfaces of these bodies. The first one is that the statistical method is to use the principles of linear polynomial regressions; the second is the parametric curves of Beziers. The results obtained have shown the variation of angles characteristics in relation to the three spatial directions and define the contour surfaces equations. The front part of the plow body ENPMA has a steeper curvature than SACRA; the rear surface active SACRA curve is much more than the ENPMA. This remark can be classified into two forms. Cylindrical form for SACRA shape and cultural for ENPMA shape.
