Sharman, Martin; Miambo, Musa C.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of wicked problems in solving biodiversity loss. It mentions that wicked problems are problems without readily available solutions or are not solvable by any established methodology. It adds that there are five characteristics of wicked problems that can illustrate biodiversity loss including the absence of definitive formulation, absence of immediate and ultimate test of a solution to the problem, and the absence of potential solutions to biodiversity loss.
