- Abstract
The article focuses on several recommendations to improve the airborne microwave radiometry supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) for humid atmosphere measurement. Topics discussed include the establishment of the workshop on airborne radiometry for liquid water retrievals and water vapor, the roles of scientists in the development of retrieval and calibration approaches, and the significant of technological innovations on the production of passive radiometer.
