- Authors
Turner, John A.
- Abstract
Although many factors contribute to financing problems of current social security systems in the U.S. as well as internationally, none have a greater impact than that of demographic changes. These demographic changes have a parallel impact on private pension systems. This article initially discusses the types of demographics that have the greatest impact and their effect on social security systems. The analysis continues by going into a more in-depth discussion of how the demographic changes will also affect private pension systems.
