- Abstract
Both research and comments from clinical practice demonstrate that there is a risk of people living with vitiligo experiencing psychological distress. This introduction to the literature provides a descriptive summary of what is known about the psychological impact and treatment of the condition and suggests how dermatology clinicians might provide appropriate support for those struggling to adjust to this visible and potentially stigmatising condition.
