- Abstract
The article presents the case of a 36-year-old woman who has a history of delayed motor development and impaired social relatedness as a child and developed an anxiety about constipation as she grew older. It discusses the relationship between comorbid psychiatric disorders and sigmoid prolapze with de novo Pogo transposable element derived with ZNF domain (POGZ) gene mutation. The patient also has concomitant autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
