- Abstract
This article is a research exercise in critical historical thinking about the genesis of reality, the present in which we are immersed, which should guide understanding and action in the face of the dismantling of democratic institutions in Brazil. In this work, we seek to address the dark perspectives opened by the Bolsonaro government, but which are not absolute, because resistance also springs up. Our sources are scientific-academic works and news from newspapers. At first, we will reflect on the history and historicity of events, critical thinking in the 21st century and a brief reflection on the present time; secondly, we expose our conception of work as an educational principle; and, finally, we focus on some shadows that are expressed in the reforms of work and education, in the dismantling of social rights and in expressions of luminosity, in resistance.
