- Abstract
Adding later non-communicable disease risks to the known adverse outcomes of extreme prematurity may influence decision-making processes during the COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 has driven healthcare systems to their limits, and it will take time to reach the 65%-70% vaccine coverage required to achieve herd immunity. Should decision-making for active resuscitation consider non-communicable disease risks in periviable infants during the COVID-19 pandemic?.
