- Title
SOUND AND FURY, SIGNIFYING NOTHING: NULLIFICATION AND THE QUESTION OF GUBERNATORIAL EXECUTIVE POWER IN IDAHO.
- Authors
Hunter, Ryan S.
- Abstract
The article disuses the application of nullification theory by several states of the U.S. to oppose the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) since President Barack Obama signed the bill. It observes the governing executive order passed in Idaho and identifies that whether the order can be considered as the means of nullifying the PPACA. It also observes that the executive order passed in Idaho was not an actual nullification while it was merely an act of uncooperative federalism.
