The article focuses on impact of judgment of Court of Justice of the European Union (EU) in case Google Spain SL and Google Inc v. Agencia Española de Protección de Datos and Mario Costeja González based on right to be forgotten on the operation of the internet. Topics discussed include Articles 7 and 8 of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights (Charter), implications of the judgment on fundamental rights in the EU and the protection of the right to privacy in the Internet era.
