The article discusses the poem "Paradise Lost" by John Milton, with particular focus given to a passage in Book XI in which a vision of the biblical figures of Cain and Abel is presented. The author's assertion that, in spite of earlier criticism to the contrary, the book containing the vision is exceptionally well-written is also commented on.
