- Abstract
The article presents a study on delaying surgery after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy for rectal cancer. The study aims to analyze whether the interval between neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy and surgery for the cancer impact the postoperative morbidity or prognosis. It is concluded that delaying surgery after chemoradiotherapy may lessen postoperative morbidity without compromising prognosis.
