This paper develops a multidimensional analysis of Constitutionalism. Links it with the coding process, political ideals and acts of faith. Relates these elements with the distancing of the natural law (at least theological) that led to the creation of the first constitutions, the possibilities of change the constitutions, the (original) justifications of constitutional supremacy, the controversy over the appropriate level of constitutional rigidity and effectiveness of models of constitutional justice.
