- Abstract
In this article, the author reflects on the confusion in judgment regarding the Supreme Court of New Zealand's court case Austin Nichols & Co. Inc v. Stichting Lodestar along with the suggestions for law reform and improvement. Topics discussed include issues regarding appeals against judgments of the District Court and the High Court, information on different types of appeals and difficulty faced by an appellate court in determining the type of appeal.
