- Abstract
Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) is the basic research organization within the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) that manages all the basic research activities of the United States Air Force. The Polymer Chemistry Program at AFOSR supports a wide variety of research activities that are aimed to enhance the future capabilities of the US Air Force. Selective highlights from the program will be presented here. The areas highlighted will include second order and third order nonlinear optical polymers and molecules, smart skin concepts, flexible electrooptical modulators and nonvolatile flexible memory.
