The article offers information on the Victory Loan Flying Circus, the military aviation exhibitions held in Aberdeen, Redfield, and Sioux Falls in South Dakota on April 24-26, 1919 aimed to draw public support for a bond drive known as the Victory Loan campaign to finance military efforts as the U.S. entered World War I. Topics covered include the total cost of war for the U.S. and allied nations, the provisions of the First Liberty Loan Act passed by the U.S. Congress in April 24, 1917.
