- Abstract
The article discusses the decision of the Supreme court of Great Britain to uphold the Competition Appeal Tribunal's (CAT) assessment of the 08x numbers determinations by the Office of Communications (Ofcom). It reports the dispute of telecommunications firm BT with mobile network operators on charges they pay in respect of the termination on BT's network of calls. Issues addressed by the court are recovery of costs of originating calls, consumer benefit of charges and practicality of charges.
