- Abstract
The article offers information on triops, also known as tadpole shrimp, which are tiny aquatic animals easy to raise as pets and fun to watch. These freshwater crustaceans with a small third median eye are suitable for classroom observation where students can learn about their charming characteristics. Triops are likened to the horseshoe crabs due to their likeness and similarities. Moreover, two books are featured which tells about triops including one "Triops: A Very Unusual Creature."
