- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the citation practice trends of the Queensland Supreme Court in the twentieth century by Professor Russell Smyth of Monash University, Department of Economics. Several types of judicial citations are outlined with the use of the taxonomy of Peter McCormick including the citations of consistency, of deference and of coordinate. Also discussed are the findings based on the available literature regarding citations to secondary authorities.
