- Abstract
The main services carried by the heavy-haul railway LTE network have high requirements on the reliability, delay, and stability of the wireless network. Once the wireless network fails, it must be restored accurately and quickly to ensure the safe operation of the train. First, according to the linear networking application model of heavy-haul railway LTE network, this paper explains the network coverage characteristics of different scenarios in plain areas, mountain tunnels, etc., and analyzes the main fault types such as base station equipment, antenna feeders and leaky cables. Then, for different types of failures, strategies such as setting up modular base stations, setting cascaded RRUs, adjusting the antenna feeder parameters of adjacent base stations, and adjusting the software parameters of adjacent cells are proposed. Finally, the evaluation method of emergency response effect is given. Through the actual application of Shuohuang heavy-haul railway, the strategy proposed in this paper is effective for rapid recovery of network failures, and helps to improve the reliability and stability of LTE-R network applications.
